Most founders can feel the blocker, but they can't always name it. When you're in the business every day, everything feels urgent, and it's difficult to separate symptoms from the actual problem.

That's where I spend most of my time. I'm a product manager and founder of Jade Axis, where I help founders with product strategy, program execution, and operational clarity—identifying the real bottleneck, prioritizing what matters, and building practical systems that continue to work as the business grows.

For 21 years, I've taught the Muslim community — Quran, Arabic, and the quiet discipline of showing up consistently for something that matters. Before that, I spent close to 24 years in administration, and even earlier, as a teenager leading my school's exco committee. Structure and service have shaped me long before I had language for either.
As I step into 2027, I'm building on that foundation with a sharper focus: helping people reclaim presence — with Allah, with themselves, and with the present moment — in a world engineered to keep us distracted.
This shows up in two ways in my work:
Quran & Arabic teaching — helping adults build a real, lasting connection to the Quran through language, not just recitation.
Dunya Detox & trauma-informed healing — because our compulsive reach for screens is rarely just habit. It's often unprocessed overwhelm looking for an escape. I trained as a Creative Trauma Cleansing Practitioner and bring that lens into how I talk about digital wellbeing and healing.
I run Quran Academy SG, with a presence across 7 platforms and a growing offline footprint I've built with real investment and intention.
Outside of teaching: I'm a reader before anything else — detective fiction has a permanent place on my shelf — and I hold this dunya loosely, knowing it's temporary.

Most people think healing means "I don't feel sad about it anymore."
But some of the most functional, successful people I've worked with are still carrying trauma they "healed" years ago — it just moved from their mind into their body.

Talking about it isn't always enough. Sometimes the body needs its own language to let go.

Running an RFI or RFP process involves a significant amount of work. It requires researching potential vendors, service providers, and manufacturers; reviewing presentations; preparing questionnaires; arranging conference calls, face-to-face meetings, and demonstrations; and coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather their input and feedback.

This is followed by comparing service offerings, capabilities, experience, and overall suitability, before completing the formal evaluation and scoring process. From there, the strongest candidates are shortlisted for the next stage, while those who are not progressing must be informed.

In many ways, the process is similar to recruiting for a role: you assess a pool of candidates, shortlist those who appear to be the best fit, and ultimately select the one that most closely meets the organisation’s needs.

The more difficult part is communicating the outcome to those who were unsuccessful. It is important not to take this personally, but to remain factual, clear, and decisive. The aim is to provide closure while managing the relationship professionally and diplomatically, as the vendor may still be a valuable partner for future opportunities.

I hope you are all doing well.

For more than one and a half years, I have been working on a dream that is very close to my heart. My vision is to combine the elegance and craftsmanship of vintage-era automobiles with the technology, performance, safety, and comfort of modern vehicles by creating ultra-luxury sedans under my own brand.

After countless hours of research, sketching, redesigning, and refining, I have finally completed my first vehicle design. This is only the beginning because I have several more designs planned for the future.

Now I want to understand what it really takes to turn a design into a real, running prototype.

I have a few questions for engineers, automotive designers, manufacturers, and anyone with experience in vehicle development.

How much time does it usually take to build the first working prototype after the design is completed?

What are the major stages between a finished design and a drivable vehicle?

How can a completely new automotive brand develop its own electronic systems, including the ECU, software, wiring, control modules, infotainment, and other vehicle electronics?

If I want everything to be under my own badge and brand name, what parts can realistically be developed in-house and what usually has to be come from specialized suppliers?

How can a startup company obtain or develop a high-horsepower custom engine? Is it better to design one from scratch, work with an engineering company, or develop one based on an existing platform?

What about the transmission, suspension, chassis, braking system, steering, safety systems, crash testing, emissions compliance, and homologation? How does a new company manage all of these?

If, by the grace of Allah, I find investors willing to fund the first prototype, what would the complete process look like from that point onward?

What kind of team would I need? Which specialists, companies, and facilities are essential?

How much investment is usually required to build a luxury prototype before moving toward production?

My goal is not simply to create another car. I want to build a brand that represents timeless luxury by combining classic automotive design with modern engineering while eventually developing as much technology as possible under our own name.

I know this is an ambitious vision, and I understand that building a car company requires years of dedication, engineering expertise, and significant investment. That is exactly why I am asking these questions. I want to learn from people who have real experience in the automotive industry.

If you are an automotive engineer, designer, manufacturer, supplier, investor, or someone who has worked on prototype development, I would truly appreciate your advice. Every piece of guidance will help me better understand what it takes to turn this dream into reality.
