To define the two groups, and yes yes UK has both groups as well. Sufis would be defined as a muslim sect that follows more 'spiritually' minded scholars. They stress the spirit of the law more than the letter. Generally, they will make following an imam in fiqh a big deal. Salafis, they will follow the more 'textual' minded scholars. They will stress Quraan and Sunnah over the following of a scholar. Keep in mind, not all Salafis are against following a madhab in fiqh. Why did both of these groups try to claim Imam an Nawawi, the author of the 40 hadith? Simple politics...he never spoke against either group in detail. He also followed hadith, pleasing the salafis, but was a strict shafiee in his usool, pleasing the traditional sufis. God knows best.

Daizy Gedeon on Instagram: "THE HAGUE— In a highly charged session of the Dutch House of Representatives, DENK party leader Stephan van Baarle fiercely confronted far-right politician Geert Wilders, branding him “utterly evil” for his unyielding backing of Israel’s military offensive. Holding up photographs of young victims, Van Baarle slammed the Party for Freedom (PVV) leader for refusing to look at the images, accusing him of turning a blind eye to a campaign that has claimed the lives of over 63,000 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children. The fiery exchange exposed deep divisions within the Dutch Parliament regarding the Gaza conflict. While Van Baarle accused the far-right leader of complicity in what he termed a genocide, Wilders—a staunch, longtime supporter of Israel—brushed off the criticism, refusing to engage directly with the images and dismissing the confrontation as political theater. We are all children of Adam (AS) and Hawa (AS). What kind of mindset is it that makes us look down on each other because of race?
Shaitan believed he was superior because he was created from what he thought was a better material (smokeless fire).

And now we take pride in our skin color, ethnicity, or country as if that makes one person greater than another.
