Just wanna say: may Allaah (swt) bless all the divorcees [and even the non-divorcees].

Oftentimes, peace is better than a bad marriage.

Idk why we can’t be more diplomatic in our disagreements.

The aim should be to seek nearness to Allaah (swt) at all times, from what I understand.

“Marriage is scary”, they said. They whose failed marriage just to scare everybody else to avoid getting married.
But according to me who’s the same experience, I don’t think marriage is scary, but marriage is fun.

I have never ever wanted to scare anyone, I always see something in positive ways. Why do I consider that marriage is fun while I had it the opposite way? Bc for my long waited to get married, I could finally feel the love I wondered. Idk my ex gave me pure affection to me or not, but I did give him my purest affection. Honestly, I’m still in touch with my ex just for our legally divorced, bc the divorce process in my country is way more different than in his country.

We loved each other, we cared each other although some people thought he love bombed me, he manipulated me, etc. I could recognize that too, but I don’t dwell on it. I have moved on, he felt sorry bc he became a calamity in my life. I knew he regretted of what he had done to me. He knew that I deserved much better. But he knew that he wasn’t the one for me, we were way too different. Yes, Allah has saved me from him.

Even though my marriage wasn’t successful, but I feel grateful that I’m able to survive and I’m alive. Sometimes I feel lonely, I feel sad and depressed which makes me wanting to sleep all day, but I have Allah who is always with me. Allah will never leave me, I trust Him so much.

So, to people here, don’t get scared of getting married. Marriage is fun if you’re with the right person. Every marriage is blessed by Allah. But if you have unsuccessful marriage like me, you’re still worthy, you deserve way better. Leave it all to Allah, Allah is the only, the best planner. May Allah give us all abundantly happiness in this dunya and akhirah. Allahumma Aameen.
