While having a discussion on this forum about having children I remembered that there was a Hadith about the end times and that there will come a time when women will not want to have children. Some of those that do have them will want to get rid of them, perhaps also alluding to the spread of sexual relations outside of marriage leading to unwanted children and abortions. This was seen as strange at the time since the natural disposition of women is to want children and not to want them was seen as strange and a sign of the Hour. My search led me to the Hadith copied below.
In my search for a spouse I've been looking for someone who wants to have children since it's my deep desire to have them. However, I've come across many women who are still able to but do not want to have children. I find that really strange and it reminded me of this Hadith. Have a look at the Hadith below and share your thoughts on this topic. Why don't women want children any more?

‘Umayr ibn Ishaq reported: Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him, said in regards to signs before the Hour, “A woman will be taken and her stomach ripped open, then what is in her womb will be taken out and discarded for fear of giving birth.”
