Hi
Hi
@MsCecile
Dear revert,
It's ok if you haven't memorized as much Quran as your Arabic speaking brothers and sisters.
It's ok if it takes you much longer to memorize even small parts.
It's ok if you feel that your pronunciation is not perfect.
It's ok if you do your Quran reading sessions in English or another language.
The most important thing is that you actively connect with the Quran, however that looks for you.
The same applies to your children too, if you're raising kids who don't speak Arabic as their native language.
All of that is ok, so don't stress. 🖤

Be sincere and respectful.
Be clear about your intentions for marriage.
Choose a comfortable, private setting.
Listen as much as you speak.
Don't pressure them for an immediate answer.
Be honest about your values, goals, and expectations.
Involve families at the appropriate time if that aligns with your culture or faith.
Accept their response gracefully, whether it's yes or no.

TO ALL REVERTS, ENDURE THE TEST, ALLAH HAS A BETTER PLAN FOR YOU.
Hi Nur 💛 Salam chryy
Alhamdulillah, I’m texting you from home in France now and I’m doing okay. I know I disappeared on you without a proper explanation, and you deserve better than that 🥺.
The truth is, the day you texted me I had just walked out of the hardest family meeting I’ve ever had 😔. For months my family had been watching me, waiting for me to "make a decision" about religion. That day they sat me down and gave me an ultimatum: if I go back to Christianity, they’ll keep covering my expenses, housing, everything like before. But if I choose to stay Muslim, then I’d have to be fully on my own from that day forward. No more help 🚫💰.
I was still processing all of that when your message about finances came in. I know 100% you weren’t trying to pressure me — you were just being honest and planning responsibly, which is one of the things I love about you ❤️. But in that moment it felt like the whole world was tying my faith, my future, and my relationship all to money. From my family: "choose Christianity or lose support." From life: "marriage costs money you don’t have yet." I panicked 😰. I felt like if I stayed, I’d be dragging you into struggles I couldn’t even handle myself. So I shut down and pulled away. It wasn’t fair to you, and I’m really sorry for that 🙏.
Nur, I need you to know this: I’m not leaving because you did anything wrong. You’re kind, patient, and you’ve been nothing but good to me ✨. The problem is me and where I am right now. I can’t build a marriage on uncertainty. I’d feel like I’m failing you every single day 📉.
So I made a decision 🤔. The money I had saved for our wedding — I’m going to use it to finish my degree first 🎓. I need to graduate, get stable, and stand on my own feet before I ask you to build a life with me. I don’t want to give you "half a husband" who’s stressed about rent and bills. I want to give you security and peace of mind, InshaAllah 🤲. It’s going to take time, but I’d rather wait and do it right than rush and let you down.
I know this hurts, and I know I handled it badly 💔. I’m sorry I let stress turn me silent instead of talking to you like I should have. If you can understand even a little bit of where I was coming from, I’d be grateful. You didn’t deserve to be caught in the middle of my family issues 🏠.
Take care of yourself for me, okay? You’re a good person and you deserve someone who can show up for you fully 💪. I hope one day I can be that person 🌟🤲.
Hello**** 💛, Salam my cute n macho dragonball. I knew the meaning yellow🟡 heart. I got u. 😉.
Alhamdulillah... omg, thank u for finally telling me everything 🥹🤍.
I totally get why u needed time. We were both just caught in a situation we never asked for 😔. Tbh, I think u made the right decision. I've never doubted ur wisdom, and I'll always support u 100% ❤️.
Sometimes when too many things hit us at once, our emotions can take over for a while. It's okay. I'm not mad at u 😊. Maybe just a lil disappointed bc u went silent without saying anything. But now I understand.
This is just another test from Allah 🤲. Let's accept it with an open heart. Every hardship raises our rank with Him. As long as u stay close to Allah, I truly believe u're gonna be okay ❤️.
Btw... I still have that picture of us that I put together on my Facebook 😊. My plan was to send it to u bit by bit... maybe once a month, just to remind u to stay strong and keep going. That's all I could do from here 🤍.
And no... I've never regretted giving my heart to u. I think I'm just a bit more mature now when it comes to heartbreak. Remember the story I told u before? It took me 3 years to move on from someone I only knew for 1 year 😅. That's just me... once I love someone, I love with my whole heart. I always say I only give 50%, but tbh... it's always 100% 🥹❤️.
Ur journey is only just beginning. Mine feels like it's already halfway there 😊. Chase both ur dunya and akhirah goals. Money isn't everything... but yeah, we still need it to live in this world.
So keep going 💪. Pray. Work hard. Then leave the rest to Allah 🤲✨. Put Allah first, and insyaAllah everything else will fall into place.
I'm not saying all this bc I'm trying to sound strong. Tbh... I need these words for myself too. Sometimes encouraging someone else is how I remind myself to stay strong 🤍.
I've accepted whatever Allah has written for me. I just really pray ur uncle's architecture firm keeps giving u plenty of part-time work, with good pay too, so u won't have to exhaust urself working outside ****campus 🤲.
Pls don't be sad, okay? Allah is always with u... and He'll never leave u. ❤️
