The Day of Resurrection: All people will be raised and gathered for judgment.
Qur’an 22:7: “The Hour is coming—there is no doubt about it—and Allah will resurrect those in the graves.”
The coming of the Hour is unknown to humans:
Qur’an 31:34 says that knowledge of the Hour belongs to Allah.
Cosmic upheaval: The Qur’an describes the earth being shaken, mountains being scattered, the sky being split, and the sun and moon undergoing dramatic changes.
See Qur’an 81, 82, 84, 99, and 101.
The trumpet: The Qur’an describes the trumpet being blown and people being resurrected.
See Qur’an 39:68.
Judgment and accountability: People will be shown their deeds, and even very small acts will be accounted for.
Qur’an 99:7–8: whoever does an atom’s weight of good or evil will see it.
Paradise and Hell: The final judgment leads to eternal reward or punishment.
See Qur’an 56 (Al-Wāqi‘ah) and Qur’an 78 (An-Naba’).
One important distinction: the Qur’an does not give a calendar date for the end of the world. It emphasizes that the exact timing is known to Allah.

Trust In Allah

Trusting Allah’s wisdom means believing that even when you cannot understand what is happening in your life, Allah sees what you cannot see. We see only the present moment, but Allah knows our past, our future, our hidden struggles, and what is best for us.

When Allah delays something you desperately want, remind yourself that a delay is not necessarily a denial.

When you lose something you love, allow yourself to grieve, but trust that your life is still held within Allah’s knowledge and mercy.

When life does not go according to your plans, remember that your understanding is limited, but Allah’s knowledge is complete.

When your heart is restless, turn to the Qur’an, make dua, and ask Allah to help you accept what you cannot change.

  • When you make a decision, seek guidance, use your judgment, take the necessary steps, and leave the outcome to Allah.

Trusting Allah does not mean pretending that pain does not hurt, remaining silent when you are treated unfairly, or giving up on finding solutions. It means facing your difficulties while believing that you are never beyond Allah’s mercy.

The deepest form of Tawakkul is when you say, “Ya Allah, I do not understand why this is happening, and it hurts me, but I trust Your knowledge more than my limited understanding. Guide me through this, protect my heart, and help me accept what is best for me.”

Remember the Qur’anic words:

“And whoever relies upon Allah — then He is sufficient for him.” — Surah At-Talaq (65:3)

Sometimes, trusting Allah means continuing to make dua even when you cannot see an answer, doing what is right even when it is difficult, and finding the courage to take the next step without knowing the whole path.

You do not have to understand Allah’s plan to turn to Him. You only have to keep seeking Him, even through your tears.
