I do have to admit, having an very strong Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 accent is a really good, problem solving human asset to have 😎
Mashallah it is a very approachable and friendly accent.

Maybe people love novelty or maybe they are fascinated how your look doesn’t match your audio lol 😐🤓

💡 Fun fact;
Did you know Muslims have their own tartan exclusively and it’s in the official tartan register of Scotland?

Imagine meeting someone who checks every box.. but they’re from a country you never imagined marrying into.

Do you follow the connection and see where it goes, or immediately say “too complicated”?

I genuinely want to know what people would choose. 👀

Whole summer gone. There are way more established women on this app than men. Anyone agree with me?

As a person who was busy doing other things in my younger life such as working one and a half full time jobs, I never really got the time or chance to experience university life at a young age. I saw friends and others go and get their head starts in their professional working lives.

I on the other hand only started university this week mashallah. I am now studying for my LLB (Hons) Law mashallah at an age where most of my friends have settled down from their crazy career days and are now with children in school. Anyone else on a mature student journey? What did you study/are studying and how has it affected you? Did you overcome any personal hurdles? Would be amazing to hear of other people in the same boat

I’ve unfortunately received many negative comments about being at uni at my age but you know what it genuinely was something I wanted to do and I’m glad I’ve been given a chance to do it by Allah and most importantly I have my mother’s duas with me who is very proud of me and reminds me to throw out the coriander from time to time lol 😂

Assalamu alaikum to all.
I feel there should be a dedicated group for step parenting on this platform as it is such an important part of modern Muslim life or at least have one called blended homes. Does anyone else agree?

This means you can meet people and discuss socially relevant issues and find community based advice and guidance on many aspects of being a step-parent?

@shaz there should be a dedicated space for all the plethora of issues which can be discussed with fellow step parents etc to reflect the modern blended family which doesn’t involve spamming the single parent and divorced Muslims group with non related posts etc. A highly relevant social discussion to be had on this. I wouldn’t mind being an admin or the mod of the group either 🤓

As an active step-parent myself I would like to put myself forward and propose that this group be made please proposal
