You can’t build a strong marriage on good intentions alone.

A husband should be working towards financial stability, not spending every month worrying about the next payday.

If you’re tired of living paycheck to paycheck, stop settling for one source of income.

Build halal income. Learn skills. Create opportunities.

Alhamdulillah, Airbnb opened doors for me, and now I’ve put everything I know into a guide to help others get started.

Today it’s £39.99 instead of £500.

If you’re serious about changing your future, DM “GUIDE” and take the first step.

Data analysts ???? Anyone here working as a Data Analyst? I’m trying to move into the field from complaints/quality roles and need honest advice on how to make the switch.

I’ve worked for years in complaints handling and quality checking and financial advice in financial services (banks/regulated firms). My work has mostly involved reviewing cases, writing final decision letters, identifying errors in processes, and ensuring compliance and of course advisory as well.

I’ve always been interested in moving into data analyst roles, but I haven’t made the jump yet.

From what I understand, it involves tools like SQL, Excel, and data visualisation, plus understanding business problems and turning data into insights. I also have a marketing degree and a good grounding in business frameworks and analysis, but I haven’t worked directly in data roles before.

If anyone here is working as a data analyst (or has made a similar career change), I’d really appreciate honest advice on:

What skills matter most to actually get hired

Whether my background is relevant or a barrier

Best entry-level route into the field (courses, junior roles, etc.)

Anything you wish you knew before starting

Any practical tips would be massively helpful.

Marriage is not just the union of two people; it is a command of Allah and a Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

In the past, people often chose their spouses based on good character, religious commitment, and family values. Today, however, many decisions are influenced by appearance, career, wealth, houses, and cars. Yet true happiness and blessings come from piety, good character, and mutual love and respect.

Please don’t take this personally—it’s simply my own observation based on what I’ve seen and experienced over time.

The Corruption of the Breath (Ruh)/ smoking is a form of zulm on the self

The lungs receive the air that oxygenates the blood, and the blood carries the life-force throughout the body. In Islamic thought, the Ruh (soul) is intimately connected to the breath.

By introducing toxins and smoke into the body, a person is committing a subtle form of Dhulm (injustice) against their own physical vessel, which is a sacred trust (Amanah) from Allah.

A corrupted physical vessel inevitably clouds the spiritual perception, making it harder to achieve Khushu (deep focus and humility) in prayer.
