Every time I pass Clapton, I think about my nan.

She was the only grandparent I had growing up, and the first grandparent I lost.

When she passed, it hit like a rock. I was frozen, unable to fully comprehend just how much it hurt. I was completely frazzled.

And death does that.

That's the thing about death. It comes and goes as it pleases. There's no denying it. We're not even guaranteed our next breath, let alone tomorrow.

Death is a reality we all know is coming, yet somehow we still live as though we have all the time in the world.

So while we're here, let's try to live as decent human beings. be kinder to one another. forgive more. make amends. pray on time and do good while we still have the opportunity to do so.

Because one day, we'll leave this world and wish we had done more.
