Salaam alaykum and good morning everyone, I hope you are all well.

I am in need of Dua and (best) advice hence this post. My teenage child now wants to reach out to his father who walked out on us 10 days after our child was born. Cut a long story short, he’s always been the absent father and never bought my child a nappy, let alone anything else.

Growing up, my child has always been taught to forgive the dad because we all make mistakes and to pray for him. I used to tell him that there will come a day when he would want to speak with his father and when he is ready, he should approach with caution.

It seems that the day is lurking around as the child now wants to speak to the father. Part of me is happy that he is doing so because maybe he will know and get some closure for himself but part of me worries about any lies that might be fed to him by the runaway father.

I’m grateful for any duas and advice please. Jazaak Allah and thank you 🙏

You know sometimes I think how when I was younger I’d think I’m soo ugly. But now I look at pictures of myself, admire myself in the mirror(mashallah allahuma barik) and not tryna be cocky but I can’t fathom how any guy does not find me attractive and how am I still single??? But then some days I’m like damn no one actually likes me, i MUST BE UGLY?? Then I say nooo and then it just becomes a cycle in my head lol.
