Does anyone know any beginner friendly hikes near Birmingham/Coventry that are easy to navigate?
I drove to honey hill for my first attempt and ended up parking near the top of the hill and having no idea which trail to follow 😂😂

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of 4-year-old Zeena Layah Allen, the beloved daughter of brother Lehmar Allen and sister Nazia Allen (a regular at AdDuha)
Zeena was a bright, joyful soul who loved visiting AdDuha, and she has now returned to her Creator.
Janazah will take tomorrow Wednesday 1st July 2026 at 2:00 PM at Green Lane Masjid, Small Heath (B9 5DB)

The phrase "Indeed, Allah is with the patient" (إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ) comes from the Qur'an, specifically Quran (2:153).
It means that Allah's special support, guidance, mercy, and help are with those who remain patient during trials, hardships, and even while obeying Him.
Patience (ṣabr) in Islam includes:
Being steadfast in worship even when it's difficult.
Staying away from sins despite temptation.
Remaining hopeful and trusting Allah during pain, loss, illness, or hardship without losing faith.
This verse does not mean that Allah only knows or cares about patient people. Allah is with everyone through His knowledge and power, but He is especially with the patient by granting them strength, tranquility, and eventual reward.
The Qur'an also says:
"And give good tidings to the patient—those who, when disaster strikes them, say, 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.'" (2:155–156)
Patience is not passive suffering. It means enduring difficulties with faith, continuing to do what is right, and trusting that Allah's wisdom is greater than what we can see.
May Allah make us among the ṣābirīn (the patient), grant us steadfastness in every trial, and reward us with His mercy and Jannah. Āmīn.
