How much do looks matter to u when choosing a life partner?

I want realistic answers, not the "looks don't matter at all" comments just to sound nice. Physical attraction is a part of marriage for many people, so let's have an honest discussion.

For me, yes, looks do matter, not because I'm looking for perfection, but because I'm choosing someone I'll spend my life with. At the same time, looks alone are never enough. Character, deen, kindness, respect, emotional maturity, & compatibility matter just as much, if not more...

And if u believe you're average-looking, why not work on yourself? Improve your personality, communication, fitness, grooming, hygiene, confidence, & the way u carry yourself. We all have room to grow. Saying, "This is just how I am, accept me," while refusing to improve doesn't make much sense !
