Saeed ibn Yazid Al Azdi رضي الله عنه once asked Nabi ﷺ for advice.
Rasúlullãh ﷺ said:
“I advise you be ashamed of Allah [i.e. when committing a sin] just as you are embarrassed/ashamed of (sinning infront of) a pious person from your [locality].”
