Sometimes people ask for "proof" of your character, your sincerity, your deen, or your past. You agree to show them, explain yourself, or clarify misunderstandings, yet before you are even given the chance, they walk away, judge you, or block you.

There is an important lesson in this for everyone.

Not everyone who asks for proof is actually seeking understanding. Some people have already made their judgment before hearing your side. Some people demand explanations not because they want the truth, but because they want confirmation of what they have already decided to believe.

When this happens, do not become upset, bitter, or desperate to defend yourself. Your worth was never determined by someone's assumptions, and your sincerity was never dependent on their approval.

As Muslims, we should remember that people only see fragments of our lives, while Allah sees everything. He knows our intentions, our struggles, our growth, our repentance, and the battles we fight in private. A person may misunderstand us in seconds, but Allah's knowledge is complete and perfect.

If someone chooses to judge you without giving you the opportunity to speak, let them go with peace. The right people will seek understanding before judgment. The right people will ask questions with sincerity, not suspicion. And the right people will recognise that every human being has a story that cannot be understood from assumptions alone.

Protect your dignity. Speak the truth. Be honest. But never exhaust yourself trying to prove your value to people who have already decided not to see it.

In the end, we stand before Allah, not before the opinions of people. Their judgment is temporary; His judgment is eternal.

ARE YOU A BLIND FOLLOWER?

⁨Many people have been trained early on to follow blindly and accept without questioning. It's a multifactorial issue stemming from early programming, environment and a personal reluctantance to genuinely and sincerely seek GOD'S guidance. The list of causalities may be long but the solution is simplified and available in GOD'S verses (The Quran).

The herd mentality is problematic theologically and also on the wider societal level. The false idea that following masses means you're right is dangerous. Much of humanity are droves of sheep. GOD uses the term  "livestock" - deaf, dumb, blind. Incapable of reasoning.  In fact, GOD warns about following the majority.

For those who believe, it's a beautiful reminder of GODS promises in HIS verses being most true.

"And if you obey most of those on earth, they will mislead you from the way of GOD. They only follow assumption, and they are only guessing" (6:116)

"Indeed, the worst of creatures in front of GOD are the deaf and dumb who do not reason" (8:22)

"Or do you think that most of them listen or reason? They are just like livestock; in fact, they are more astray from the way" (7:144)

"And if WE had willed, WE could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from ME has been imposed that, “I (GOD) will fill Hell with jinns and people all together." (32:13)

Gratitude is important 🙏

"So remember ME; I (GOD) will remember you, and be thankful to ME and do not be ungrateful to ME" (2:152)

If you can’t have a 30-min halal conversation with adab before nikah,
how will you survive 30 years of marriage after nikah?

Apps all are just tools.
The real test is: Can you lower your gaze, control your tongue, and fear Allah when no one’s watching?

Taqwa doesn’t start after the walima. It starts in the DMs.
