Texting and Pre-Relationship Mixed Signal Processing Model

In this model we will attempt to find a mathematical solution to the mixed signals issue that's plaguing the relationships world

Let the received "interest signal" from their messages be:

r(t) = A cos(2πf₁t) + B cos(2πf₂t) + η(t)

where:

A = amplitude of genuine interest
B = amplitude of mixed signals
η(t) = emotional noise as a function of time

The Fourier Transform decomposes the signal:

R(f) = ∫₋∞^∞ r(t)e^(-j2πft)dt

(For the mathematically challeneged, the long S thing is called an integral, it is read as "integral of the function from -∞ to +∞. The function notation itself changed from r(t) to R(f), indicating a change from time domain to frequency domain.... *** this just google it)

Applying the transform:

ℱ{r(t)}=R(f)

(It took me too damn long to find that fancy F for the Fourier transform)

R(f) = A/2 [δ(f-f₁)+δ(f+f₁)] + B/2 [δ(f-f₂)+δ(f+f₂)] + N(f)

Experimental observation:

A ≈ 2
B ≈ 5
Pη ≈ 10

Therefore, the Signal-to-Noise Ratio is:

SNR = 10log₁₀(Psignal/Pnoise)

= 10log₁₀((A²+B²)/Pη)

= 10log₁₀((2²+5²)/10)

= 10log₁₀(2.9)

≈ 4.6 dB

The signal exists, but the noise floor is dangerously high.

Using a low-pass filter:

we attempt to remove high-frequency fluctuations such as:

  • -"Good morning 😊"
  • -"Sorry I was busy"
  • -"how was your day"
  • -"I miss talking to you"
  • -72-hour disappearance

The filtered output becomes:

Y(f)=H(f)R(f)

Unfortunately:

lim(t→∞) y(t) → 0

(This is called a limit, you read it as "limit of function y(t) as t approaches infinity)

Therefore, inverse Fourier reconstruction gives:
(The inverse to convert back from frequency to time domain)

ℱ⁻¹{Y(f)} ≈ 0

Final engineering conclusion:

The system response is unstable.
The input signal (texting and pre relationship wffort) is non-zero,
However as we saw, the transfer function of the relationship is approaching:

H(f) ≈ 0

Therefore:

The love and interest signal has been attenuated by the unstable relationship channel.
In order to improve the results, Increase sample size, reduce noise, or terminate the experiment before hardware failure.

Or to put it simply,

You're cooked, the mission is cooked, abort and save your sanity
