Venting here due to this sudden gush of sadness without any particular reason.

People point fingers at unmarried women in theirs 30s. I appreciate that we are old now and maybe to some people's eyes we are expired but don't you think there are always reasons why someone isn't married that. A part of that could be due to personal choice but mostly people had genuine reasons.
I can tell for myself , my early to mid twenties were gone to fulfil my parents expection of being an academic high achiever. I was constantly pushed to score high at uni and was never told to pursue marriage. After that I moved country and spent the last five years building career , getting few degrees and literally learnt to survive a new country and build up my life.
Nowhere in this picture I was encouraged to care for my personal wellbeing and was never taught the how important it is to have a good partner.
Now when I'm 30, I do not have the social skill to find a man for me because of lack to exposure. I can walk in a room full of unknown people and tell them their family members are dying, I can de-escalation crazy lunatics with my words, but I go blnak when I'm being asked what I love to do or what I want. On the top of that, the pool of marriage is so small for freshies like us because we are being judged for holding freshie visa in this English land. We are also being judged as a woman back home because we are living alone away from family and God knows what we are doing.
Would we ever grow up to be slightly kind and tolerant to others? Idk you people decide.
