How do you guys fulfill your need for validation and human connection in a halal way. Obviously I know getting out there, and talking and meeting with ppl in real life is the key, and j get that, and I’m trying to put myself out there more.

But recently I’ve been feeling some angst. I feel like some days I have an addiction to sites like Omegle, where I just sit in front of my laptop camera, and try to get some validation from people for a few seconds- if I think I look good. I could spend hours on that site, and it’s problematic if I don’t check myself.

I’m being brutally honest here, and it’s awkward to say, but some times i just want to post myself on TikTok, and get some encouraging comments.

I understand that my worth is inherent, but some days especially as an unmarried 26 year old man, I get that angst from time to time.

What a boring planet, no giants, no vampires, no dragons...

just bills & dumbass people.

I feel like love is a thing you do. Caring is a choice. Ppl are good at "doing things" not so good at choosing. Indecisive. Weak.

Why do people match then disappear after "Salam Alaikum"? 🤔
