Ever been hit by your parents?
Islam does not give parents permission to abuse their children. While children are commanded to honor and respect their parents, well parents are equally accountable before Allah for how they treat their children. Prophet Muhammad was the best example of mercy. He showed love, patience and compassion towards children. His character reminds us that strength is shown through kindness not violence. Discipline in Islam is meant to teach, guide, and protect not to injure, frighten or humiliate. Any action that causes harm leaves lasting fear or is done in anger contradicts the Islamic principles of mercy, justice and good character. A home built on mercy reflects the teachings of Islam. Children deserve to grow up feeling safe, respected and loved and parents will be accountable to Allah for the way they fulfilled that trust. Hope our future husbands are not violent inshallah . May Allah make it easier for all of us. If I was to have kids in the future I would never raise my hands on them just as some parents do. What world do we live in. This generation is messed up. Even tiny things children receive a hit from their parents. The type of world we live in. This happens a lot in our Asian culture and don’t think what the child goes through from inside.

I just realized I’ve been on Muzz since 2024. Whaaaat?! 💀
At this point, the algorithm isn't even trying to match me anymore. It just sends me a yearly loyalty award and a notification saying:
Bro, you've survived 4 app updates, 500 blurred photos, and 30 fake profiles. Are you sure you don't just want to adopt a cat?
@Zainab1500
I know your intentions might be good, but guys, please stop asking a girl to come to your house the first time you're meeting.
On behalf of many ladies, we don't like it. If you genuinely want to get to know someone, plan a proper date or meet in a public place first.
Abeg, let's normalize that. 🙂

People with childhood trauma often don’t feel like adults because they’ve been functioning as adults from such a young age.
