This morning, I read a news report on CNN Indonesia. Here is an excerpt:

The East Java Regional Police have dismantled a "love scam" syndicate involving foreign nationals in Surabaya. The syndicate defrauded 53 women in Indonesia using tactics involving emotional manipulation and fictitious parcel deliveries, amassing profits totaling IDR 1.1 billion. Three suspects have been taken into custody: two foreign nationals and one Indonesian citizen.

Ladies, please be vigilant and cautious—do not trust too easily. Channel your inner Detective Conan before making your choice.

I’m a revert, I reverted to Islam after a suicidal attempt. I’ve never talked to any brothers about this. What’s the Muslim perspective on mental health issues? And about something of what I went through?

You open up and then there are days without words and those are the days when everyone ends up assuming everything about you, so you keep opening up less and less with every passing year hoping that this is a process of you transforming into the sky…

For the people for find your spouse through this or other apps, for how long did you look for/wait?
How many tries talking until you found the one?

You’ll see, I don’t know how it is for other brothers. It just feels like there must be something else with me because I’m not being even chosen to get to talk. Am I asking for too much? Or are women asking for too much?

Salam guys, just a reminder to the brothers ,a lot of us have lost our mum and dad, and a lot of us are still blessed to have them here. Life gets busy, we start making money, building our lives, getting married, moving away… but don’t forget your parents, especially your mum.

Spend time with them while you still can. Call them, visit them, sit with them. And when you do get married, don’t let that distance you from your mum and dad. Family is a blessing, and time with them is something you can never get back.

May Allah bless and protect all our parents, inshallah.🫶
