So why do some of you men who are Muslim and have businesses... sometimes leasing properties and managing several locations want to pay people way less just because they don't have status

The "maid" status and mindset is really gross.

And you will have to answer for that when you finish your life.

Sure right in the moment you don't think it's a big deal and you think and act like they should be grateful...and while yes it's correct, "at least they have work"

You CAN ALSO pay a fair salary to people like this. If it wasn't for them. You also would not have your free time.

I'm holding on to this feeling... It's not about him, it's about me.
I know he's gone, I know he didn't choose me, and I know he'll be happy with his choice.
But when I try to forget this feeling, I feel empty and lonely... and that's not what I truly want.
So I choose to keep this feeling.
I'm Ikhlas knowing he's not for me, but I still love the version of me that loved so sincerely.
This doesn't mean I failed to move on.
I moved on from him, not from my feelings.
I'm not waiting. I'm not hoping.
