Share amusing anecdotes, bizarre facts, and hilarious jokes 🤪. Just one rule… keep it respectful ✨
Choose the one whose character stays,
through storms and trials and darker days.
For gold may sparkle in the sun,
but a faithful heart outshines everyone
For kindness shines when beauty fades,
and loyalty outlives brighter days.
A gentle heart, a truthful mind,
are treasures far more rare to find
In Islam, if your mum passes away and a sibling is withholding her gold and refuses to share this with other family heirs what should you do?
And how should physical gold be shared out to family heirs if it can’t be split easily?
The moment you weigh your faults with theirs,
and count their failures against your prayers,
you miss the truth that Heaven sees—
the state of your own heart and deeds.
You point to wounds that others made,
to broken promises, trust betrayed,
yet every soul must stand alone
before the One who knows what’s shown.
On that Day, no names will hide
behind excuses, hurt, or pride.
No record but your own will lie
beneath the gaze that none deny.
Allah will not ask what they concealed,
but what was nurtured, what was healed.
Not how another lost their way,
but how you walked from day to day.
So guard your tongue, your heart, your hand,
and strive to meet His just command.
For peace begins when we depart
from judging others, heart to heart.
And when the scales are raised above,
the greatest weight will be your love,
your patience, mercy, faith sincere—
the things you carried year by year.
Let them answer for their own story,
you seek your Lord, His grace, His glory.
For when the final page is turned,
your own record is all you’ve earned.
🌷🤭As much I'd love to stay, I have to say
goodbye......🤭🌷
to my old job role, (I wanted to a long time ago) and now I can. 👩🏫🙃
One of my key children in the last nursery I work in, was autistic, and I took interest in why he behaved the way he did. I wanted to help him, but I didn't have the knowledge or the answers to support him.
So I resigned to study psychology, but as some of you may know, I was a nursery nurse. Although challenging in many aspects, involving safeguarding, reporting incidents and accidents, emotional child protection and whistleblowing procedures, but I can tell you, it was one of the best job roles I have ever had. I mean a job, thats about 40% drinking countless cups of pretend tea, making sand castles, and building tall towers out of blocks. Pretending you are an expert driver even though (you don't know how), you still get to hang out with the boys who like racing toy cars, who somehow believe you can accurately side park.😎
My favourite part of my previous job was laughing at the discoveries children used to make. I showed a child a spider. And I remember, she said "No silly Leila, it's a daddy long legs." I love getting messy, so setting up creative activities only for it to be a mess in five minutes.
Some children were just glued to me, could never let go of holding my hand or pulling on my clothes. When I was on kitchen duty I had to dodge the poor boy. I felt so guilty. I remember, one girl was too shy to talk so we whispered instead. 🤭 And my manager came to tell me "wow, her mum told me she couldn't stop talking about you at home." Another child, made me laugh taking a photo of me with her toy camera while she was posing.
One challenging part is when their parents leave them crying at the gate. The most rewarding feeling was when, a child stops crying when they see my face. Another rewarding part is when I track their development, see them develop every milestone from scribbling and making marks on paper to writing their own name. Some children start without speaking a word, just to leave speaking full blown sentences.
Well I learned, growth comes with a lot of goodbyes.
If you don't jump, your will never fly. If nothing changes nothing changes. As much as I love all the fun things that comes with being nursery nurse. I must make a difference in those with additional learning needs....
🌷🤭Working with children is a career I would not change even if the whole world turned it's back on me....🤭🌷
