OPINION vs TRUTH
An opinion is a subjective position someone holds.
The truth is independent of us and our positions.
It is an axis we turn to. We are either aligned or not.

If what is subjective aligns with what is objective, and an opinion can be verifiable - it can be on truth.

If truth did not ever exist, all would be lies and we would never be able to make sense of anything.
We would never know anything for certain.
We would not know. For certain. For Ever.
No signal. No signs. No source (origin) of truth.
Because we could never be. If all is false then nothing is. Absolute nothing can never be.
So only being is. Only is being. One Being. Is.
Being one (aligned/united) with Him is valid.
Truth is. All else is false.

THE DIFFERENCE

1. Objective Independence</CUSTOM_BOLD>
   Opinion is subjective. Truth is objective.
   Truth exists independent of belief.

Allah swt is independent of us and our beliefs.
The Quran is true, independent of our beliefs.

2. Universal and Absolute
Opinions are changeable. New information or evidence can change or alter opinions. Truth however, is systematically the same for all at any time or place under similar circumstances.

People's understandings and beliefs can change based on information adopted from various sources leading to sectarian views - but Allah swt's deen has always been one: islam. The values are universally, consistently and absolutely superior.

3. Proven through Validation
Pure opinions can never be proven true or false. They do not require sound evidence or universal consensus of something self-evident to exist. Truth is always supported by evidence, clear logic, reality and/or scientifically/systematically demonstrable.

But if a person lies, is it not true that they lied? Yes. But is the lie ever true? Never!

TRUTH IS REAL VALUE IS JUSTICE
If a person lies, it is true that the person lied. The truth regarding "beliefs in" and "acts of" falsehood can be validated as well. The manner in which this happens is you test it against the truth. If it is false it will fall.

If a person lies -
while it is true they lied -
their lie can never be true/truth.

Meaning: Falsehood can get found out and discovered because a lie can never truly result in justice and/or a truly superior outcome in reality!

Let's take two examples - (1) accusing someone of something they never did or (2) murdering someone. Both are false.

The first (slander) is an event that never took place. It is false. It can never be true because it can never be evidenced or proven! It is a transgression of both personal and universal rights.

No-one has the right to make false/unjust claims about another that inflicts loss. This is a personal right. No-one has the right to lie or deny someone the truth. Everyone has the right to truth and Allah swt's reality. No-one has the right to reject the reality of Allah swt without consequence. These are universal rights.

The second (murder) is an event that should never have taken place. It can never be valid or truly good or of (true) value because it can never result in anything but corruption. It can never yield a beneficial outcome. Only loss. It goes against Allah swt 's exclusive rights to create and destroy/take life and to deny Allah swt His rights and take a life without just cause is an injustice to Allah swt.

It is a denial of His authority, placing one's own (false) values above His values and His rights and His authority and command. To murder is to reject His reality. To reject His reality is to reject His truth. When we push against reality - we defy & deny it.

The consequences of ignoring reality are like ignoring gravity. Jump out of a ten story building and what awaits you is very real harmful consequences. Loss.

And what is loss but harm?
Lies and falsehood are bound to loss. Truth and reality are bound to be of value and benefit.

UNIVERSAL LAW (AXIS)
This is Allah swt's universal law and how to distinguish what is true using Al-Furqan. Align or pursue إلحق to Him (who is truly real) الحق and you will benefit. All else (not from/aligned with Him) is false and leads to loss. Why? Because it is not real and is a lie.

Allah swt is the arbiter of and possessor of all value. Aligning with what is/who is inferior leads to loss because there is no other absolute axis of value except الصراط المستقيم. All matter revolves around Him and His values and esteem.
