Don't sell the akhirah for the duniya.

So Satre said something about freedom of choice is a burden.
The freedom of choice builds not only your identity but the world you live in in.
With this burden comes responsibility to fully accept the consequences of your choices.

I don't quite remember, but this was the gist of it. So like yeah. It makes more sense now than when I first read it.

But the point is.. you're meant to surrender to ALLAH like flow through life with intention, faith and love and then the burden is kinda dead..

Existential crisis averted right?

So IN MY OPINION

So you know how ALLAH tests those HE loves..
And ALLAH does not place a burden on you that you cant handle..
And you gotta pass the tests, basically learn to make better decisions (by flowing) because if you don't learn, the same test is thrown at you over and over until you learn..
And only through pain can you find gratitude and patience and trust and many many other virtues..
And through the virtues, the veils are removed..
And when you look through that heart with fewer veils you find your truer self..
When you follow your true identity you are able to fullfil your potential..
Which enables you to fulfill the reason you were put on this Earth..
With co-operation and surrender this becomes a lot easier..
Resistance just brings you more pain and anxiety.. or anguish as Satre would say
So learn to let go of control. You can't control what opportunities are coming your way and you don't know which road is the right road..
So flow with it, first step to letting go of control is letting go of fears and worries and expectations..

Be grateful for what you have. The truth is,some people wish to be in your position or have the opportunities that you have. You day is basically someone's dream. So appreciate the little things. Don't worry about the things that you don't have yet. Trust and believe that if you are in the right direction, everything will fall into place. Remember even if you fall short, walk towards Allah, and He will come to you running. Meet Him at a hand span, He will meet you at an arms length. Nothing is impossible for Him. Even if you are on the straight path, always return to Him and ask Him to keep redirecting you, to stay where He needs you to be.

With patience, hard work, the right things will make it's way to you, as long as you remain steadfast on reaching your destination.
