Recently, I’ve been coming across several sisters who have lost their jobs, or they are currently in the process of losing their job, or their academic department is in flexible and pushing them out. During Covid, the younger generation was doing a thing called, “quiet quitting“. What I have experienced for the past nine years since having made Shehada, I would label “quiet crusading“. 

Essentially, government agencies, non-profits, education facilities, and corporations are doubling up on their “antiseptic training“, and the result is that the Muslim sisters and brothers are being isolated in the workplace, continually questioned about their values, and being forced to participate in ritualized virtue signaling. The most obvious example is in the workplace where we are expected to share our “pronouns“ which is liberal materialist virtue signaling. 

I’m wondering if anyone else is picking up on this trend, or is it only on the Bay Area. Bear in mind, the Bay Area is Ground Zero for LGBTQ Feminism, and Transhumanism. Whatever happens here will spread.

This is a well worn and academically studied pattern of “white feminists” weaponizing ‘sisterhood’ while exporting their ideology to black/brown communities, then abandoning the black/brown communities after the disintegration of the values that hold our communities together. It’s all part of the RAND corporations strategy for neoliberal domination over Muslims and indigeneity.

Is this a trend that is expanding outside of California?

Apparently, that was him trying to have a normal conversation. And I was the one making him take the conversation in that direction.

I kept waiting for the part where we’d discuss literally anything two people considering marriage are supposed to talk about. Family. Values. Deen. Life goals. Work. Children. Whether elaichi belongs in biryani. Anything.
