If you have not come to Allah with a pure heart and full submission of everything that comes with this, then why claim to be his servant?

The Bosnia Genocide - Watch, learn and never forget. 🇧🇦 🇧🇦 🇧🇦
The Bosnia genocide is universally commemorated on July 11, marking the anniversary of the 1995 Srebrenica massacre when Bosnian Serb forces killed more than 8,000 Muslim men and boys.

There is a quiet grief no one speaks about.
The grief of those who approach marriage with clean hands, only to leave every conversation wondering why sincerity has become so difficult to recognize.
A woman asks for clarity, not because she is suspicious, but because she is careful. She asks a simple question, and laughter answers before understanding does. Somewhere along the way, patience became mistaken for desperation, and dignity for pride.
How strange.
When did wanting marriage become permission to treat a woman as though she had already lowered her standards?
When did honour become something to negotiate?
Yet the story does not end there.
For every man who forgets the weight of leadership, there is a woman who forgets the weight of honour. For every man who wraps selfishness in confidence, there is a woman who wraps carelessness in freedom. We have become so eager to defend our desires that we have forgotten to defend our souls.
Some men meet every sincere woman as though she must prove she is different from every woman who disappointed them.
Some women carry beauty as though it grants ownership over what was only ever entrusted to them by Allah. They spend so much time asking, "My body, my choice," that they forget to ask, "What does my Creator ask of me?"
And somewhere in the middle stand the sincere.
The men who lower their gaze and wonder if modesty still has a place.
The women who guard their dignity and wonder if respect has become too much to ask.
Both paying the price for people they have never met.
Perhaps that is the greatest tragedy.
We keep blaming each other while ignoring the mirror.
Men call responsibility old-fashioned until they need loyalty.
Women call modesty restrictive until they long for a man who values it.
We ask Allah for righteous spouses while refusing to become the answer to someone else's du'a.
The problem was never that righteous men disappeared.
Nor that righteous women became extinct.
The problem is that noise has become louder than character, desire louder than discipline, and convenience louder than conviction.
Maybe that is why finding one another feels so difficult.
Not because Allah made marriage hard.
But because too many people have made sincerity feel unusual.
