Share amusing anecdotes, bizarre facts, and hilarious jokes 🤪. Just one rule… keep it respectful ✨
im my own biggest fan, like wdym I can rewatch my own story 50+ times without getting bored of it? 🤷🏻♀️
I recently came to realize I have a very expressive face. 😭
A brother asked if he could see my hair before marriage and I instantly pulled a disgusted/rage face. I politely said no, and he later admitted it scared him and was a red flag. ☠️
Then I heard someone nearby swearing and automatically pulled another "ick" face. He noticed that too. 😂
My tone was soft, not harsh, but I suppose my face was screaming, "Get me out of here!" 🤣
Some people don't want a discussion, they want an audience. The moment someone has a different opinion, they insist theirs is the only correct one. A closed mind isn't a sign of wisdom.
If you can't respect different perspectives, don't be surprised when all you create is unnecessary drama.
I used to think I want a huge audience and thousands of followers like everyone else. Over time, I’ve realized I’d rather have a smaller community of people who are here because they genuinely connect with what I write, not because of FOMO or whatever happens to be trending. Keep your circle small but real. That’s probably why I’ve never chased viral trends or tags as they just never aligned with my personality.
I’d rather my words reach the right people slowly than everyone all at once. I don’t think that’s being selective for the sake of it. I think it’s valuing genuine connection over visibility. And that’s exactly how I want it to stay.
Here’s to waiting for the right people finding me. 🍒
