I deactivated my marriage profile a few days ago and have been away from here since.
I lost faith in this app, and I’ve also been busy with some personal projects while enjoying the summer in the Mediterranean.
Hope you’re all doing well.

Tag…. You’re Not It
To my Pakistani brothers, who have been enthusiastically tagging me (and what feels like half the app) over the past week, I’d really appreciate it if you would stop.
A few points to consider please.
Constantly tagging people who haven’t asked to be tagged is poor social etiquette. Notifications aren’t Pokémon. You don’t have to collect them all.
It’s obvious you’re trying to get the CEO’s attention. If the countless tags over the last week haven’t worked, adding another fifty probably isn’t going to unlock a secret level.
We all have the freedom to choose whether we use this app. That same freedom also includes choosing not to be drafted into someone else’s campaign.
Many of the people tagging me have never even exchanged a salaam with me, let alone had a conversation. Being on the same app doesn’t automatically make us part of the same group chat.
I really don’t want to start blocking, muting, or reporting people just to enjoy a peaceful notifications tab. But if polite requests continue to fall on deaf ears, then I’ll do what I need to do.
The irony isn’t lost on me. Some of you are frustrated that Shaz isn’t listening to your repeated tags, yet you’re doing exactly the same thing by ignoring users who have repeatedly asked not to be tagged.
I don’t usually make posts like this, but hopefully this is the final chapter in the <CUSTOM_BOLD>Great Tagging Saga of 2026.
Jazaka’Allah khairan for understanding.
