Please can someone explain this

I can't sleep and I keep remember something I thought I had already finished in my story’s chapter. There’s a feeling that bothers me every time I remember it.
Not because I failed to be Ikhlas, I’ve truly made peace with myself for a long time. But being Ikhlas doesn’t mean forgetting. Forgetting a feeling that once went so deep isn’t easy, and it might leave a mark forever.
But that doesn’t mean we stay in the same place. Sometimes there are flashbacks when we’re ready to end a chapter of our story… not to add more pain, but to remember with a smile and say "Allah was right, I'm stronger than I thought, I made it this far:)"
