Is anyone going to the Knicks parade? I was thinking about going, but I’m kinda nervous about going alone in such a big crowd. Would be cool to meet up with someone if anyone else is planning on going.
& I don’t regret having a good heart, I just regret extending it to people who didn’t know what to do with it.

Let’s reflect on the story of Prophet Nuh (AS).
When the flood came, his own son was among those who rejected the truth and chose to go against Allah’s command.
Despite being a father, Prophet Nuh (AS) did not defend his son’s disbelief or wrongdoing. He called him to the truth until the very end, but he did not compromise on what was right.
Allah said:
"Indeed, he is not of your family; indeed, his work was unrighteous." (Qur’an 11:46)
This is a reminder that in matters of truth and falsehood, even family ties do not override justice and obedience to Allah.
Love for family does not mean defending wrongdoing. It means wanting them to return to what is right, even if it is painful.
Sometimes, loyalty to truth will feel heavier than loyalty to people, but that is where faith is tested.
May Allah grant us the courage to stand for truth with wisdom, even when it involves those closest to us. Ameen.
