Polygamy. This topic and opinions on it are not so clear cut, in terms of how liberals and conservatives think about it. Some religious people don't like polygamy; anything in the Quraan and Bible is hard to doubt for me. Though my cultural brainwashing does make me dislike it. Some moderate Muslims, they say, look that was for a time that has gone by when men were breadwinners. Yet another liberal group is hard-core on polygamy and they judge everyone as non Muslim who criticizes it. A fourth group claims this has to do with having enough money or permission from your first wife...progressive Muslims I guess who just make up stuff without proof.. None of the 4 schools of islamic law ever made polygamy waajib. Fact check this stuff for sure...on this topic, I am open minded lol. God knows best.
