So i been on a journey..First of all I stayed deening..The Sunnah became the Fard..Went from 5 bligatory to praying whenever I had a free moment n recognized it..We still on that.. I didn't pursue a Wife...I prayed that one day I would be blessed to complete my deen. Honestly didn't see that happening any time soon. Sisters be too caught up on what a brother has in that moment as opposed to his Taqwa, Iman, Adab and the constant reinforcement and bettering of the three.. I met a sister here who first opened my eyes &;showed me..not all Sisters are concerned with how much of the Dunya u can offer. Sone understand Rizq is given from Allah swa. HE won't give the believer a wife and not give him the means to provide..Slightly heartbroken by that sister another sister (also sent by Allah swa) granted me ease through her words & attention. I thought she was definitely the one..that Allah swa had used the first to prepare me for the second. I was partially correct..but not completely. I began to express my feelings & ask about her wali..It was not to be...while dealing with the sister she bought my attention to another sister she felt was "there" I blocked that sister..When things shortly thereafter didn't lead to a wali being involved, I unblocked the blocked sister..
She is also the sister I married..I am extremely pleased with who my Lord has chosen for me. For all our plans...Allah swa is the best of planners because she is better than any sister I would have picked on my own.
Once I sincerely made Tawbah..and focused on being obedient to Allah swa in everything without excuse..He immediately rewarded me..and continues to do so..
We want Allah swa to answer our Duas and gift us with pious spouses..while still being disobedient when we choose to...without every changing the true conditions of our heart..
We claim to follow the Sunnah...while emulating the Prophet saw in only minimal ways. Do u fast every Mon & Thursdays ..do u think the best of your brothers & sisters first
Do u approach marriage as the Sunnah says..or do u have your preferences....bunch of em...Do u speak ill of polygamy..agree with it or not..and I dont want 4 wives....BUT 4vWIVES IS THE SUNNAH OF THE PROPHET saw..
ALHAMDULILLAH

I’m 28. I’ve been on my own for more than three years not because I don’t want love, but because I needed time to heal.

The truth is, starting over is exhausting. Meeting someone new, opening up again, and risking another heartbreak isn’t easy when you’ve been hurt before. Part of me is still afraid. But another part of me still believes the right person exists.

I’m not searching for perfection. I’m searching for peace. A man who is emotionally mature, honest, and ready to build a future not just chase a moment. If you’re willing to be patient with someone who’s learning to trust again, maybe our story is worth discovering.
