One thing I think man should have is self-awareness.
Especially when you're interested in someone. Before you approach a woman, ask yourself honestly if you're both looking for the same kind of future and whether you're truly compatible.
From my experience, many professional women usually look for a man who is at a similar level financially or someone who is more financially established. That's simply their preference, and there's nothing wrong with that.
I know some people won't agree with me, but this is the reality I've seen. Of course, there are women who are happy to marry a man who earns less than they do, and I respect that. Every woman has the right to make her own choice.
What I don't think is fair is using the marriage of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Khadijah (RA) to tell every woman she should do the same. Their marriage was unique, and none of man are the Prophet.
At the end of the day, every woman has the right to choose a husband who matches her values, her goals, and the kind of life she wants to build. No one should feel guilty for having standards that are important to them.
