Is it weird that I felt someone 12 years older than me is mature and willing to take the stand for marriage but yet he says he’s not ready yet and wants to know me more? And is also divorced but no children and my one son is still a big deal to him since I’m solo parenting?

I have a question. So I know on here u can speak to more than one person at once it’s the nature of the app but what I don’t get is say for example you’re speaking to 2 people and you’re finding that you’re compatible with both, how would you even deal with that situation. Like I know people say don’t put all your eggs in one basket but I’m just trying to understand how people even navigate that. Do you ghost one of them? What do u do? I’m not asking for tips btw but I am just curious because it sounds like you never know if you’re actually building a potential connection with someone because if they are speaking to others, then how would they decide if you’re the one they’re going to move forward with. Could you potentially be wasting your time? I have no idea. Can someone enlighten me. I just don’t know how focusing on more than one person at once does become possible without hurting anyone. I used to only speak to one person at a time but I don’t know if I should do that knowing that other people don’t and I’m essentially maybe just an ‘option’ can anyone give me advice?
