This question is for both men and women (but I have a feeling we’ll find more triggered reactions from some of the men on this app) if you only see a spouse as a means to an end, and not a genuine friend you would to do things for BEYOND your minimum requirements and expectations in a marriage, why do you want to get married?
Like, the person you marry and live with and spend the rest of your life with is simply a tool, but your friends who all have their own lives mean more emotionally to you?
That makes absolutely no sense to me. Marriage without love. Tied to someone without companionship. Intercourse without intimacy.
Why? Why make someone else suffer through your heartless desires of literally nothing?
