I do realize that women have become a bit umm idk how to say it perhaps too focused on particular standards social media sets for us not realizing that the reason why those folks are living that posh lifestyle is cuz they are making money off of social media in the first place lol it is a no brainer and most of those folks are there because they feel confident hence we see more of the 6ft gym guys and all that silly stuff

Prophet SAW told us this in the simplest of forms "When someone whose religion and character you are pleased with proposes to you, then marry him. If you do not do so, then there will be turmoil (Fitnah) in the land and discord (Fasad)."
Al tirmidhi 1085
This is what we see today women have much higher standards. Tbh yes you should look at his salary and men should have the mentality of provider simple. Women should see the way our Prophet SAW's wives were and follow them by nurturing the home for her husband can she still do career sure if she wants to as long as it is in a halal way. That was how there was barakah you know why because there was balance. And yes men should help in the home!! Even our Prophet SAW did.

The truth is both sides need to learn same goes for men

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A woman is married for four things, i.e., her wealth, her family status, her beauty and her religion. So you should marry the religious woman (otherwise) you will be a losers Sahih Al Bukhari 5090
This is a warning to the guys whose main focus is beauty or wealth that is not the approach! See her religion first then see her beauty that is when you will meet not someone who looks stunning on the outside but one who is beautiful on the inside and yes all women are both but men too have watched too much silly stuff and have set social media standards which is unfair to women. And you are to keep your gaze down! Even if they are on your screen then you will see the religious woman as the most beautiful regardless of social media says.

So yes both sides have bitterness for each other because BOTH sides are living by social media a mindless silly set of algorithms where influencers make money off of you and mess up your perspective on life lol amazing right?!

There is a root cause to the bitterness and as an ummah we must work together to fix it and it starts with each of us. Stop seeing what your friend is doing start asking who am I pleasing and the answer should be the one and only Allah SWT
