A polite unmatch, but a lesson in Qadr ✨
Just had an interesting experience. Matched with a girl where the mother initiated the chat. We had a really deep, positive conversation. Later, the girl and I spoke and we connected really well.
I have always kept my "Separated" status completely transparent on my profile. But a day later, when I asked if she was okay with everything on my profile, she realized the status. When she asked why, I told her it was simply Allah's will. She politely apologized, asked me to understand, and unmatched after asking.
It hurts a bit when a good connection ends over a past that you are transparent about, but I truly believe whatever Allah has written will find its way to me. To everyone out there dealing with the "Separated" tag—stay strong, keep your intentions pure, and trust His timing.

Stop looking for people who are afraid to lose you. Find people who are afraid to disappoint you.
There's a difference 👌

Long time, no post

So... let's talk.

Around this same time last year (funny how we're in the same month again), I met someone. Not on Muzz, though.

I was in a really difficult place.

No job.
No relationship.
Slowly slipping into what felt like depression.

Then I met him.

We started as friends. No strings attached. We talked about everything. The connection just clicked.

For the first time in a long time, things felt... easy.

I showed up for him in every way I could. It felt like there was nothing we couldn't tell each other. The communication was amazing.

Promises were made. Effort was shown. Everything seemed perfect.

I've been in relationships before, but this person understood me in a way no one else ever had.

So tell me...

How does someone go from all of that to saying, "I'm just tired"?

No explanation.

No effort.

No trying to fix it.

Just... tired.

And somehow, I'm back to square one.

Maybe even worse than before.

Now I question everything. I struggle to believe people. The negativity has found a place in my mind, and I'm trying so hard not to let it stay there.

I know I'll heal. I know I'll get over this.

But I genuinely want to ask...

Why do some people make promises they aren't willing to keep?
