To the independent people, why do you want to get married?
I really crave independence and love the idea of living alone. When I was doing a solo city break last year, I completely forgot about my family and their existence. I only remembered my mum because she kept messaging me and checking if I was okay.
In fact I probably would if I didn't have loyalty to my mum. She's been a great mum so I can't do that to her but if she was a bad mum, I would probably go live my solo living dream.
But when I think about marriage, I'm only searching really because of the cultural pressure. It's expected of me by my family. In terms of needing a husband, I could do everything myself BUT the only thing I can't get is physical affection. That's the only thing I need. It sounds bad but that's the main thing that appeals to me about it for marriage to me 😭
In terms of love and support, I have amazing family and friends for that. They can pretty much fulfil all the love languages for me except physical touch.
Why do women always demand equality?In marriage, the man is required to have a house, a car, and a good job.Where is the logic? Isn't marriage about cooperation and helping each other?
