Getting blocked by someone who's got 3 kids after asking her what do you do for a living, I honestly can't take this 🤣 😭... What is this?

Salam everyone! I have a question that I’ve been curious about for a while, and I’d love to hear different perspectives. Why do some people ask for someone’s Instagram, Snapchat, or phone number, and then end up blocking or unmatching them shortly afterward?

Everyone has the right to change their mind or realize they’re not interested, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But what I’m trying to understand is why ask for someone’s contact information if there isn’t any real intention to continue the conversation. It seems like it would save everyone time if people were just honest from the beginning.

I’m not judging anyone or trying to criticize anyone’s choices—I’m genuinely curious about the thought process behind it. Is there a reason people do this that others might not be aware of? Has anyone here ever done it or had it happen to them? I’d be interested to hear different opinions and experiences….
