Why do people make it men vs women? Or brother vs brother? Do you not understand that we are together? Of the same origin? Do you not realize the only difference amongst us is our piety? My only enemy is Shaitan and all who support him. If the prophet teaches us something why dont we do it? Instead all I see is hate, ignorance, severity, ego, violence, separation, disorder, and people that think they are playing a game but they are being payed and losing. Everyone should ask themselves before anything, what would the prophet do or want. How does Allah who is watching and testing me right now want me to handle this. My sisters if I say anything to you it isnt that its a double standard. Its that some men are have allah far from there mind and we cant change them but we can hope to protect you so you dont fall for it as well. It is so you can be protected, honored, and cherished as you deserve to be. And my brothers need to start leading by example. I dont care who did what, do better. Dont fight fire with fire fight it by removing the oxygen.

Not looking for perfection—just a sincere heart, good character, and a shared goal of building a marriage for the sake of Allah.

My personal thought on Islamic marriage that has been on my mind lately... 🤲

The more I observe marriages around me, the more I realize that the strongest Muslim marriages are not necessarily the ones with the biggest weddings, the most beautiful photos, or the most expensive gifts. They are often the ones built quietly—through daily salah together, sincere du'a for one another, honest communication, patience during hardship, and the shared intention of seeking the pleasure of Allah.

I sometimes wonder if our generation has become so focused on finding the "perfect" spouse that we've forgotten to ask ourselves a more important question: Am I becoming the kind of husband or wife that I pray Allah will bless someone with?

It's easy to ask Allah for a spouse who is patient, loyal, forgiving, God-conscious, and kind. But am I striving to embody those same qualities? Am I improving my character, controlling my anger, guarding my tongue, fulfilling my responsibilities, and treating others with the mercy that Islam teaches?

Marriage in Islam is not about two flawless people finding each other. It is about two believers who understand that they will both make mistakes, yet choose to respond with mercy, forgiveness, and a shared commitment to grow closer to Allah together.

I also believe we should speak more openly about preparation for marriage. We often prepare financially and plan the wedding in great detail, but do we prepare our hearts? Have we learned how to apologize sincerely, listen without pride, resolve disagreements respectfully, and put Allah before our own ego?

A home filled with barakah is not created by luxury alone. It is built when a husband and wife remind each other to pray, encourage one another during difficult days, celebrate each other's successes without jealousy, and never stop making du'a for one another—even in moments of disagreement.

To every unmarried brother and sister, never feel pressured to rush because others are getting married. Trust Allah's timing. A marriage that begins with patience and sincere reliance upon Allah is far more valuable than one entered into out of fear, loneliness, or social pressure.

And to those who are already married, may Allah continue to increase the love, mercy, and tranquility between you. Every marriage faces tests, but with sincere faith, mutual respect, and the willingness to grow together, those tests can become opportunities to strengthen the bond.

I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts:

In your opinion, what is one quality that every Muslim should develop before getting married, and why do you believe it is so important?

Let's learn from one another with kindness and respect. May Allah grant every sincere Muslim a righteous spouse, bless every marriage with love, mercy, patience, and barakah, and make our homes places where faith grows every day. Ameen. 🤍
