Abdullah ibn Umar (رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَ) said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took hold of my shoulders and said: “Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler along a path.” And Ibn Umar used to say: “When evening comes, don’t expect to live till morning. When morning comes, don’t expect to live till evening. Take from your health before your sickness and from your life before your death.”〘Sahih al-Bukhari — Ḥadīth No. 6416〙
