I have been through a lot when it comes to finding a partner and I haven't gotten to my final stop. I am loving. Respectful and caring yet no one cares for me. Life abroad is already hard and lonely.

I’ve been in a bit of a situation and need kind and constructive advice

I was talking to a man I really liked and agreed to a quiet nikkah while we live separately for a while as we continue to get to know each other

I found out after a few months of talking and soon after we agreed to this and I had feelings already, that his first wife came back and he took her back

It’s really hard for me to find someone I’m attracted to and feel compatible with and I had that with him

I know men don’t need to tell their first wife or seek permission, she doesn’t know about me

Despite him not telling me, I really do like him and being divorced and over 35 now, I don’t know if I’ll ever meet someone I like as much anytime soon if I end this

I’m in the position of being a secret wife. I’m not sure how I feel about his first wife and family not knowing about me yet

Today I saw a post where a woman had hip replacement surgery. At 12 DAYS, the husband complained why she had not mopped the floor.

A wife is your partner. Not your maid. Too many men treat their wives like a machine and most of my girlfriends also work and share in the bills of the house yet carry 100% of the mental and physical work maintaining the home.

Then the men are shocked and say the divorce came out of nowhere.
