I know that in an islamic marriage there is a lot of importance placed on the man to be the main financial provider and be financially stable so he can raise a family and take care of his spouses needs.
My question is - what happens to muslim men living in the west who are at a good age to get married (e.g, late 20's or early to mid 30's) but are not earning a high enough salary? Let's be honest, not everyone has the ability to earn a high level of income and work in the higher earning professions such as doctors, dentists, coperate lawyers, finance/tech sectors. What happens to the men whos abilites only allow them to attain a minimum wage job throughout their life or a low paying salary - again, people have to do the lower paying/minimum wage jobs otherwise society wouldn't functions. Everyone's skill sets, abilities and mindsets are different - it isn't always easy to 'just make more money'. Are they simply denied marriage because of this?🤔
They can have all of the other personal qualities to need to sustain a marriage but be denied marriage because of their earnings/career ambition.
