To the men on this app…. If you was to get married, would you feel comfortable giving your wife £1000 per month for her maintenance, not for food/rent/mortgage. But for her clothes, haircuts, hair colour, makeup, toiletries, any aesthetic treatments, dental care, coffees/food out with friends/family. Or is this too excessive?
Say your wife has accepted she won’t work, and will raise children, cook, clean, and do all the domestics and relocate to him.
I asked this guy I’m getting to know seriously for marriage, families are aware and have been introduced. I asked him for 1k per month after he calculated what I spent. He told me this was too much, and that it’s a car for the year… I feel a bit deflated. I didn’t think it was much.
Guys is this too much to give a wife?

Is this a marriage or a transaction? Because I am relocating for him and won’t work and give birth to children and look after them I need salary as compensation! Any woman who is working full time deep inside knows what Mondays feel like and how hard it is. You are lucky that he don’t want any of that from you. You are lucky that he is not asking for 50/50 unlike some men who are actively asking this.

if approach it more naturally as helping eachother make it work and doing whats possible rather than expecting a specific amount of money
