🕋 PILGRIMS FROM HOME - Post 2 🕋

Teams are forming 🥸
Some are already looking dangerous 😂 😭

A reminder before things get too competitive…
The goal is not to put together a team of strong ibadah veterans, but for the more experienced in worship, to uplift those who are newer to this kind of schedule 😌 ✨️

Encourage.
Remind.
Check in.
Make du'a for all teams ♥️

⏰ The challenge officially begins at Tahajjud time on the 1st night of Dhul-Hijjah.

A few clarifications on points:

🥗 FASTING - 15 POINTS
The first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah are special because they combine the greatest acts of worship: salah, fasting, charity, and Hajj.
Because of this, fasting is heavily encouraged and rewarded in this challenge.

❤️ Sisters during menstruation, and anyone medically unable to fast, will automatically receive fasting points for those days.

📖 QUR’AN - 5 POINTS
To earn points, recite one complete surah (not from Juz ʿAmma).
Partial readings won’t count 😅
Reading a longer surah?
You can count:
1 juz = 5 points ✅

❤️ Sisters not praying may earn Quran points by reading the translation or tafseer of one full surah in English or your chosen language.

🕌 FARD PRAYERS - 10 POINTS
Award yourself:
2 points for every fard prayer prayed on time.

❤️ Sisters not praying may recite “Subhanal-lah wal-hamdu lil-lah wa la ilaha illal-lah wal-lahu akbar” 150 times at each prayer time to earn 2 points for that salah.

🌙 TAHAJJUD / QIYAM - 5 POINTS
Pray 2 rakʿahs for 5 points.

❤️ Sisters not praying may substitute this with 10 minutes of istighar after isha.

💚 DHIKR - 5 POINTS
Complete:
• 100x SubhanAllah / Alhamdulillah / Allahu Akbar

  • 100x salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ

🤝🏻 EXTRA GOOD DEED - 5 POINTS
Examples include:
Helping parents, seeking knowledge, giving charity, helping a friend, or any sincere act of goodness done for the sake of Allah.

Can I get some Shia guys/gals to help each other during these Ayyam

Hate no one, no matter how much they've wronged you. Live humbly, no matter how wealthy you become. Think positively, no matter how hard life is.

Salam, I want to know what people think about this.

Is it extreme to expect your future spouse to not wear makeup, not listen to music and limit their use of social media? Social media in this context is only pertaining to platforms like Tiktok, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter etc

Ofc on the condition that I also don't listen to music and limit to no use of such social media?

My name is Syed Aun Zaidi.I belong to the Syed family. I am 22 years old. I do e-commerce business. I am looking for a girl here for marriage. I want the girl to belong to the Syed family and be a Hafiz of the Quran and a Zakira. Even if her worldly education is not that much, it will still be fine. But the most important demand is that the girl should be a Hafiz of the Quran and Zakira. Anyone who is interested should please contact me. Both families will discuss the relationship, so without hesitate to contact them.

Brothers, since when did we start drinking? Why has it become so common.
I’m not sure if it’s common on the sisters side as well. But it’s so sad to pass those great educated men, who also drink.

I don’t mind having them as friends , but not as a father of my child.
Anyone facing similar struggle?
