Hi to all Indonesian women living abroad or still living in Indonesia,

I just want to share my personal experience as a warning to others.

Last year, I matched with a man on this app. He even came to Indonesia, met my family, and made it seem like he was serious about building a future together. Unfortunately, things turned out very differently.

Over time, I discovered that I was not the only Indonesian woman he had pursued. From what I experienced and learned, he appeared to follow the same pattern with multiple Indonesian women. It made me feel that he was looking for someone who could help him maintain his life in Europe rather than genuinely seeking a committed relationship.

During our conversations, he also explored whether moving to Indonesia would benefit him. After visiting and realizing that it wasn’t the opportunity he expected, his attitude changed. He even told me that my Indonesian passport “couldn’t give him anything,” which was hurtful and made me question his true intentions.

I’m sharing this not to judge an entire nationality or every man on this app, but to encourage women to be careful. Please take your time, pay attention to actions rather than promises, and don’t ignore red flags just because someone travels to meet you or meets your family.

This is my personal experience, and I hope it helps someone avoid going through the same thing.
