It’s 100% practical, yet sad to admit the truth.

Sometimes I just crave my favorite little street-food,chatpate treats. And I do eat them alone, of course. But sometimes I imagine having my person beside me, watching me with that little smile and saying,“BOU, tell me… how do you find so much happiness in such small, simple things?”And I’d smile and say,
“Life is too short, you know. So eat what you love, laugh a little, and live a little more.”
Hmm… maybe that’s all I really wants someone who finds my little joys adorable, not silly. ❤️
Thats my favourite 'Kalai Ruti n Gorur mangsho'.. Ummm 🤤

Hi everyone!
@AhibasNawzer
For years, I feel like I haven’t experienced the release of oxytocin that comes from affection and emotional closeness. I’ve been deprived of affection for so long that sometimes I feel like even my dopamine levels have gone numb, and I’ve lost the glow I once had.🙃
The only time I genuinely feel a sense of peace is when I cook with all my attention and care. Whether it’s my family or guests, seeing their expressions, hearing their appreciation, and knowing they enjoyed what I made gives me a kind of comfort I can’t easily explain.🙂
There are times when my body and mind don’t even want to cook, yet I still do it just to experience that little moment of happiness and peace. Not because I always enjoy the effort, but because sometimes I need the emotional reward that comes after it. Perhaps many people have never had to endure this kind of emotional struggle in life. I have. And sometimes, accepting the pain and carrying on with your responsibilities is also a form of endurance.🙂

Alhamdulillah, as a woman, I want to keep nurturing my passion for cooking and become as good at it as my mother. ❤️
She never taught me hands-on; whatever I’ve learned, I’ve learned on my own during my bachelor’s days. And now, whenever we have guests at home, I’m usually the first one to step into the kitchen.
Allahumma barik laha. 🤍
