Maybe the biggest plot twist after years on Muzz wasn't becoming stronger.
It was realizing that I could survive without the people I once thought I needed.
Not because I stopped wanting marriage.
Not because I stopped believing in love.
But because every disappointment taught me that Allahﷻ was enough while I waited.
Now when someone leaves, ghosts, changes their mind, or walks away...
It still hurts.
But it no longer destroys me.
Because the same Allahﷻ who carried me through the last heartbreak will carry me through the next test too.
And perhaps that's what scares some people.
Not that a woman is difficult to love.
But that she finally learned she doesn't need to be chosen in order to know her worth. 🌿🤍
The truth is...Many of us never wanted to become this guarded. We simply became careful after being disappointed enough times.
Yet despite everything, I still believe in marriage. I still believe in companionship. I still believe Allahﷻ can write a beautiful ending.
Just not at the cost of my self-respect, peace, or deen.
