I’m in a phase where I’ve stopped thinking too much about marriage.

Right now, I just want to take care of my parents, spend time with them, and be present while Allah ﷻ still gives me that chance. 🥹

Then my parents ask:

“But who will take care of you when you grow old, my daughter?”

And somehow that question hits differently.

Maybe because while I’m busy thinking about how to protect them, they’re still thinking about how to protect me.
