I am 47 yrs old and want to change my carrier.
Is it possible to change career from an engineering background to psychology?

Are there any online courses to become a counsellor?

<CUSTOM_BOLD>Funny how some men sound so wise and mature in public comments... but in private chat, it's like talking to someone else entirely.</CUSTOM_BOLD> 🤭

Bismillah

Few Can Relate😊

It is a very heavy and quiet pain. When a woman gives her pure heart and completely trusts a man, having it all destroyed feels like the end of the world. She is left all alone to clean up a huge mess that she did not even make. She loses her safe space and the precious time she spent trying to build a happy, peaceful home.

The most unfair part is watching him easily walk away. A toxic man will never take any real responsibility for the deep damage he left behind. He just moves on to his next distraction and completely ignores the broken pieces of the life he ruined. He acts this way because he completely lacks the maturity to feel any real guilt for his own selfish choices.

But people also forget how incredibly strong this woman becomes when she finally builds herself back up. Starting from absolutely zero is terrifying, but it teaches her to fiercely protect her quiet peace. She clearly realizes her true value and promises to never let anyone disrespect her again. A strong woman might lose her time and her money, but she never loses her pure heart. She will slowly rise up and build a beautiful, secure life that is completely her own, while he will stay exactly the same.

( If I got locked away, and we lost it all today..tell me HONESTLY, WOULD YOU STILL LOVE ME THE SAME? 🥹😶🤔) Hey y'all today's topic is TRUST ISSUES 👀. The vibe for this post? It's gonna be BIPOLAR 😤😂😭 so HOT 🔥 AND COLD ❄️. And mostly I'm gonna leave it open ended, cuz I honestly don't know what is right or wrong here. And ofc it's personal story time 😆😙☺️.

When I was little I was really attached to this painting kit that I had. I would use it every day, I was pretty much obsessed with it. One day It disappeared! Like wHOOSH- GONE! 🥲🫪🥺 I was still a kid back then. When I asked my parents about it they told me so and so took it away, and then I confronted that person and they said they have no idea what I'm talking about 🙄😖😡. That was my first heartbreak 💔 CORE CHILDHOOD MEMORY 🫪 Ever since then I stopped trusting people. (NOT ENTIRELY, BUT MOSTLY) 😌🙂‍↔️

I was so disappointed of getting hurt, I stopped HOPING FOR THINGS 🫠. It became my defense mechanism, and honestly I don't know if that was a dramatic decision making. And if you remember I have both MOMMY AND DADDY ISSUES 👀 😂 as if it's peanut butter and jelly. So there were also some other instances when my parents promised me something and didn't keep their word. So my whole trusting system was malfunctioning 💔🙃😐.

Did I not ever trust anyone again? Ofc not I did trust others and gave them the benefit of the doubt. And got PLAYED 🤡 and on some occasions everything was fine. But MOSTLY PLAYED 🤡 🤣 (IT'S OKAY YOU CAN LAUGH, I'M LAUGHING TOO 😂) So moral of the story, I think you shouldn't completely stop trusting people after some BETRAYAL. There are GOOD PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD, and they didn't do anything to not deserve your faith.( Faith is a synonym for trust btw, I GOOGLED IT 😉) But then again how do you truly learn how to trust others after shocking betrayal? SUPER GLUE YOUR BROKEN HEART!? OR TAPE IT UP!? IT WON'T BE THE SAME THOUGH 😤🥴🫩. That's all for now, toodles!

The Mind Behind Comparison
Have you ever mistaken someone else's light for proof that yours had gone out?
Or looked at another person's life for so long that your own began to feel ordinary?
Lately, I've been wondering...
Perhaps comparison doesn't begin with envy.
Perhaps it begins with forgetting.
Forgetting that no two hearts carry the same story.
No two souls are walking the same road.
Comparison is a quiet poet.
It edits another person's life into a masterpiece...
while reducing yours to a single unfinished sentence.
How unfair.
Not to them.
To yourself.
Maybe that's why comparison feels so heavy.
It asks us to measure lives that were never meant to be measured against each other.
Perhaps peace begins the moment we stop asking,
Why don't I have what they have?
and start noticing the gifts we've been walking past all along.

How do people become convinced they’re right?

People who cause harm often sincerely believe they are doing good. They cast themselves as the righteous advisers.

Most people believe they are enforcing truth, justice or morality while causing harm, knowingly or unknowingly to the people around them.

The difficult question isn’t simply “Who is the oppressor?” but “How do we recognise when we might be mistaken and causing harm to others?”

To me, that is a much deeper philosophical question than simply asking whether someone is good or bad.

What are your thoughts? 💭
