I probably have OCD regarding hygiene. I tend to take a bath and then feel like I’ve picked up some dust, so I take another shower. Yesterday, I did this three times consecutively. I showered for wudu before Isha, but after coming out, I felt like I wasn’t clean enough, so I went back and showered again. After that, I came out and felt like a drop of water from the ground might have splashed back onto me, which prompted me to take another shower.

I take showers six times a day. Is this normal?

Even now, as I’m posting this, I’m heading to take another shower because I feel like my hand touched my sweat on my mobile phone.😭😭😭

I just saw a post about how to end negative energy from people and how not to get sucked in to meaningless debates.
I think it's a great way to stop the flow before too much energy is drained.
Anyone have a toolkit they use?

Life is painful, but I remind myself to be grateful for what Allah has saved me from, even when I am still struggling with the pain of what I have endured.

Society has made me question whether the steps I took to protect myself were wrong, but I stand by my morals, dignity and self-respect. I want to heal and move forward, but some wounds are not easy to forget.

Sometimes, I feel as though I have been given my punishment in this lifetime. I wonder whether Allah is testing me, whether I have unknowingly sinned, or whether I am suffering because of my father’s sins. I do not know why I have endured so much, and sometimes I fear that I may have displeased Allah without realising it.

I cannot erase my past, and I fear that one day I will simply become a distant memory, while the pain I carried remains unseen.

Ya Allah, forgive me for any mistakes I have made unknowingly. If this is a test, grant me strength; if I am carrying pain I cannot understand, grant me peace. I pray for Your mercy in this lifetime and the akhirah. I am tired of hurting, and I want to believe that my life holds more than suffering, that happiness and peace are still written for me.

May Allah ease my heart, forgive me, and grant me a beautiful future in this dunya and an even more beautiful akhirah. Ameen.
