Free Palestine

Please don't forget to pray for our palestian peoples they're going through barbaric oppression everyday.

We speak of Palestine so often through what was lost.
The homes. The names. The children who never got to grow old. The dreams buried before they had the chance to become real.
And all of it matters.
But sometimes, I think we forget something.
They are still living.
There are still mothers making food. Fathers thinking about tomorrow. Children finding reasons to laugh. Students opening their books. Young people still dreaming about who they want to become.
None of this means they have forgotten what they lost.
It means loss did not become the only story they were allowed to have.
So when we speak of Palestine, let us remember their pain.
But let us remember their life too.
They are not only the people who suffered.
They are the people who continued.
And In Shaa Allah, one day, Palestine will be spoken of in the language of ordinary things.
Home. Family. School. Bread. Prayer. Laughter. Peace.
May Allah protect every life still being lived there, heal what has been broken, reunite families, and give them a peace so complete that tomorrow no longer feels like something to fear.
Ameen.

ʙᴇᴛᴡᴇᴇɴ ᴀ ᴅʀᴇᴀᴍ ᴀɴᴅ ᴀ ᴘᴀɪɴꜰᴜʟ ʀᴇᴀʟɪᴛʏ 🇵🇸

I had a dream.
I was in Palestine with a few companions and my mother.
And my mother was being held hostage by the oppressor forces.

The reason she was taken hostage was that she was wearing a scarf bearing Iran’s flag.

In real life, my mother has health issues and was earlier diagnosed with cancer.
In the dream, I kept thinking about this, and it worried me deeply; how would she cope in such a situation?

On the other side my friends and I were trying hard to set her free.
We spoke to the officials, informed them about her health condition, and tried to reach her.
We also tried to look for an escape route by bypassing the forces.

There were security checkpoints everywhere, and their forces would not allow anyone to pass without documents and biometric verification. It seemed as if only a registered person could pass through.

We crossed one checkpoint but got stuck at the second.

I kept thinking about her and was desperately trying to free her.

But no one was listening.
No one cares about your emotions.
You are not allowed to go beyond a certain point.
You are controlled, and your rights do not matter.
You are forced to live a life not according to yourself, but one dictated by a cruel and unjust ideological regime.

I had never felt such a feeling in my entire life.

HELPLESS!

I was unable to do anything in her favour.
Absolute nothing!

Somehow, I managed to reach a point where I could communicate with her through sign language. I showed her that I was there and gestured for her to come towards me, but because of the perimeter patrol, it was not possible.

Later, I secretly infiltrated the place where she was being held, and the dream ended there. 😊

It was ‘only a dream, so I was able to infiltrate’ and reach her.
But in real circumstances, it would never, ever be possible!

The dream lasted only a short while, but the impact it left on my heart is far from normal.
I am still thinking about it.

This was just a glimpse!

It was so hard to accept living in such a situation even in a dream.
Then what about in real life?

The people of Palestine are going through far more than this. We do not even truly know what they are enduring right now.

A life under occupation, continuous war, and genocide.
Some have lost their parents, some have lost their children, some are struggling with amputated limbs, some with medical issues, and some families no longer exist at all.

Some mothers are still waiting for their children to be released from detention centres.

At this very moment, some may be facing sexual assault, rape, and torture inside prisons.

Hospitals, schools, and universities have been attacked and demolished.

The people of Palestine are waiting for food aid and medical help. They are living without water, electricity, proper shelter, and even basic toilet facilities.

The homes where children once played and spent time with their loved ones, the warmth of being surrounded by family.
All of it has been reduced to rubble.

It is truly heartbreaking to witness their lives. They can do nothing for themselves!
How helpless they must feel.
Their pain is beyond our comprehension.

And we, too, feel unable to do anything for them.

It is difficult to accept the truth: we simply sit and watch, think for a while, perhaps make dua, and then for us, the next day begins.
Some of us cannot even control our nafs enough to boycott products linked to Israel.

Yet even after losing everything, they still believe in 𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗛 ﷻ.
Most importantly, they have not lost their faith. Instead, they return with even “stronger” faith!

But we, whether in hardship or ease, still turn to haram doors.
Some of us knock on them, and some even enter, only for temporary pleasure of this world.
Can this ever be justified?

Merely performing the obligatory prayers and fasting will not make us pious.
We need to go beyond the obligatory acts.

Ponder over this situation if you can spare some time.

After every prayer, please make a special dua for the brothers, sisters, and children of the Ummah of our beloved 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 ﷺ suffering in war-torn lands, and for my parents as well. 🤲🏼

May Allah grant us victory over all oppressors, and make us live upon the Quran and Sunnah. Ameen.
