Hi

I yearn to be affectionate
But i am only one
I yearn to be whole
But I am only the half
Age is gaining
Fortunes dwindling
Am i at fault?
Time though denies no one
Time but fulfils
Allah is just and
He is judge

Heart Dial.

You're sad because..
You are expecting you, from people.

But they're not you are they?
They are not cut from the same cloth.

The thumb that twists up or down.
Turns your mood, from joy to frown.

Hoping for those constant thumbed up approvals.
The years of work you put in just for them, for a millisecond reward.

And then your back to being empty..
A daily cycle you've procured.

And if you had a man, boy does he get the best version of you..

I hate people like that..
Copied and pasted off a factory line.
But with a dash of different outfit makes you think you're unique.

Your eyes shifting during the day, the constant judgements that you seek.

You rehearse scenes in your mind, on how to react to them tomorrow.
To minimise regret on every meet.

Aren't you exhausted?
You must be exhausting to look at..

And those alone, hoping your mate soul
Will finally rescue you..
But you don't even know what from.
But maybe now you know.
Maybe now you get it.

That the chase for status,
Is what the older folks had always regretted.

I wish I had someone like me,
Someone who loves as deeply as I feel,
Who stays when things get hard,
And knows that love is more than just a spark.

I wish I had someone with a heart like mine,
Someone whose love is patient, pure, and kind.
And maybe it’s selfish to wish for this to be
But I just want someone who loves like me. 🖤

Someone who does not entertain everyone is my type
Not the one who seeks every eye,
Someone whose attention is rare,
whose energy isn’t for everyone to share.
I’m drawn to the kind who doesn’t entertain every soul,
Because to me, there’s something divine
about a heart that doesn’t entertain every passing line.
Someone who isn’t for everybody
that’s exactly my kind of somebody.

How can I blame the wind for the mess it made, if it was me who opened the window. 🍃
